TSV

Federation of Finnish Learned Societies (TSV), established in 1899, is a national co-operative body for 287 learned societies and 4 science academies in Finland. TSV’s legally defined tasks are to support and develop scholarly communication and publishing, increase awareness and usage of research results in society, and facilitate collaboration between learned societies. TSV maintains Journal.fi and Edition.fi platforms for Finnish OA journals and books, hosts the national open science coordination and the national Publication Forum evaluation of scholarly journals and book publishers, coordinates the responsible researcher evaluation and CoARA national chapter for Finland, and promotes the international Helsinki Initiative on Multilingualism in Scholarly Communication.

In DIAMAS TSV contributes widely to different work packages, leading specifically tasks related to multilingualism and gender equity in OA publishing, creation of national overviews with institutional publishing policy contexts and funding practices, and identifying areas of potential collaboration.
