DIAMAS is launching an online consultation on the first draft of a set of actionable recommendations and guidelines for Diamond OA.
The recommendations are currently being developed through a co-creation exercise involving stakeholders at European, national and institutional levels. The overall aim is to help institutions, Funders, Sponsors, and Donors (FSDs), and policymakers support the Diamond OA model in scholarly publishing. The feedback collected through this process will be used to refine and improve the future Diamond OA recommendations and guidelines, which will be published in March 2025.
The following stakeholder groups are invited to participate in the consultation:
- Institutional leaders and Diamond OA practitioners working in universities, other research performing organisations and learned societies
- European research funders, sponsors, and donors that provide financial or in-kind support to Diamond OA outputs.
- National and European policymakers.
The consultation will be open until Friday 29 November, CoB. To participate, you can visit this page which includes additional information about what to expect and how the consultation works. A full overview of all recommendations can be found here. We suggest that respondents review them before filling in the consultation.
